SIELUNE AI Platform — Procurement Information

The core platform is production-ready. Customer-specific work consists of configuration, data connection, identity setup and integration — not custom development of the core product.

This page provides procurement-ready information for public-sector and education contracting authorities: company information, product status, pricing structure, integration catalogue, security documentation list and how to request the full procurement pack.

Standard product packages

SIELUNE is sold as a licensed software service. The standard commercial model consists of a fixed implementation fee + annual organisation licence + agreed AI usage allowance + optional integration packages. Deployment

Deployment options and implementation timeline

Managed SaaS

Operated and maintained by Virtual Dawn in an agreed EU cloud environment.

Private SaaS

A dedicated customer environment with agreed isolation, capacity and security controls.

Customer-managed cloud

Deployed in the customer's own Azure or approved cloud. Customer controls infrastructure, data location, access and security.

Standard implementation steps

1. Product & security onboarding
2. Tenant & deployment setup
3. Identity & access configuration
4. Knowledge-source selection
5. Data ingestion & indexing
6. LMS & system integrations
7. Assistant & role configuration
8. Security & privacy review
9. Acceptance testing
10. Production launch

A first production deployment can typically be completed within 6–8 weeks, depending on customer readiness, integration scope, data availability, security review and acceptance requirements.

Security & privacy

Data residency and security

Data residency

  • ✓Application & database: region depends on the selected deployment package (standard shared cloud or customer-specific environment)
  • ✓AI inference: region and provider route documented per customer package
  • ✓EU-pinned setup available for customers with strict residency requirements
  • ✓Voice synthesis: provider endpoints and region scope documented in implementation
  • ✓Company registered in Finland — Finnish & EU law
  • ✓Region commitments are defined contractually per deployment

Compliance

  • ✓DPA and data-processing description support data-subject rights handling
  • ✓DPA (Data Processing Agreement) available
  • ✓Controls support customers’ EU AI Act transparency, logging and oversight obligations
  • ✓Data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest via selected infrastructure controls
  • ✓No customer data used to train third-party models
  • ✓Where processing occurs outside the EEA, transfer safeguards (for example SCC/DPF) are applied as required
  • ✓SSO/OIDC/SAML available in applicable institutional packages
  • ✓Per-organisation data isolation

Where infrastructure-level certifications are provided by the selected cloud platform, this is stated separately from certifications held directly by Virtual Dawn. We do not claim organisational certifications that have not been formally awarded.

ICT quick answers (education / ephemeral default)

What is “User X”?
An ephemeral session placeholder in analytics — not a person record. Anonymous short-lived chat by default; cleared on a ~30–60 minute cycle (~1 hour). Named identity only if the institution enables email or LMS/SSO.
Campus system integrations?
Optional. Share links alone are enough for pilots; Moodle/embed/API/identity when required.
What is retained by default?
Temporary chat for the live session, then purge (~1 hour). Aggregated anonymous phase progress may remain for content quality. Admin dashboards do not show IP or device logs.
Where is data processed?
Managed cloud app + database; AI providers under DPA with SCC/DPF where transfers apply. Region and subprocessors are fixed in the deployment package. No third-party model training on customer conversations. EU-region or customer Azure when contracted.
